Paul Barongan, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Watching my parents practice internal medicine in rural southwest Virginia, I had the opportunity to see the difference they made in their patients' lives. I also wanted a career that would have a positive impact in my community and allow me to pursue my interests in science and math. I enjoy the relationships that I have established with our families over the years. Watching my patients grow up, and later entrust their own children to my care, has been one of the most satisfying aspects of my career.

Matthew McCallister, M.D.
I went into medicine because of the opportunities it provides to be part of a community and help others in difficult times. Oak Ridge Pediatric Clinic has been fortunate enough to take care of generations of families in the area, and I share that commitment to excellent care for my patients. What I enjoy most about my job is getting to know the families and talking to the kids, as well as sports medicine and treating athletes.

I went into medicine because I am very interested in the science of the human body and I also enjoy helping others. I appreciate the trust that parents and children place in me and my colleagues.
