Procedures and Services
East Tennessee Children's Hospital Pediatric Pulmonology provides the following services, among others:
- PFTS (Pulmonary function test) on patients who are age 5 and above
- Sweat Testing performed in conjunction with lab
- Manage the Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) Lab in the hospital which includes:
- PFTs (Pulmonary Function Test)
- Cardiac Stress testing (in conjunction with cardiologist)
- Pulmonary Exercise Tolerance Test
- DLCO (diffusion capacity for carbon monoxide)
- Lung Volume
- Methacholine Challenge
- HAST (High Altitude Simulation Test)
- 6-minute walk test
