Annual Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) Conference
The Annual Update in Acute and Emergency Care Pediatrics is a result of collaboration between the four Comprehensive Regional Pediatric Centers (CRPCs) in Tennessee, Tennessee Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (TN AAP) and Tennessee Emergency Medical Services for Children (TN EMSC).
Using interdisciplinary approaches throughout a series of plenary and breakout sessions, learners will be able to develop skills surrounding pre-hospital care of the medically complex child, as well as skills for the pediatric trauma patient. This program is designed for providers involved in the diagnosis, treatment, transportation, and management of pediatric trauma patients in Tennessee and surrounding states Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Units.
The course is designed for the pediatricians, nurses, emergency physicians, family practitioners, intensivists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, EMS professionals, fellows, residents, health care students and others involved in the care of treating pediatric emergencies.
