We run a complex care service and co-manage most of the surgical and subspecialty patients in conjunction with 32 different service lines (no nursery). Our team cares for general pediatric patients in the acute and intermediate care units in addition to providing consultative services to subspecialty, surgical, and pediatric emergency department colleagues. Teaching opportunities available as well as academic appointment if desired.

Innovative Pathology is seeking a Physician - Pediatric Pathologist

Innovative Pathology Services seeks a pediatric pathologist to join our practice covering surgical pathology at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in pediatric pathology and eligible for Tennessee state licensure. This position will be focused on general pediatric surgical pathology including solid tumors, GI pathology, hematopathology, neuropathology, cytopathology, and the clinical laboratory. Autopsies are outsourced to a regional forensic center. Excellent interpersonal skills will be put to use in consultation with the clinical staff and teaching of pathology residents from the University of Tennessee Knoxville Medical Center.
