2019 Achievements
Children's Hospital was awarded hospital of the month by Solutions for Patient Safety (SPS).
SPS also named Children's Hospital in the top 10 percent of participating hospitals in outcomes on CAUTI, CLABSI, ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) and falls for October 2014 through 2015.

In 2024, East Tennessee Children’s Hospital had over 40 physicians recognized by Cityview Magazine for their “Top Docs” issue.
The physicians, ranging in specialties from pediatric ENT to neurosurgery, were nominated by peers, patients and the general public for the magazine’s annual issue.
