Dietitian Kylie Has Found Her Dream Specialty

"When I switched my major to nutrition, I knew that pediatric oncology was my dream specialty. My childhood best-friend is a neuroblastoma survivor thank to St. Jude. Her life is a reminder that each patient that I interact with matters and carries a legacy! Working with my patients at ETCH reminds me how grief and joy can coexist. There are days I walk into clinic and am overwhelmed with emotion by seeing a child zoom by on tricycle! It is an honor to know, support, and care for families as they walk through uncertainty. I have so enjoyed working alongside a team of caring oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who lead with compassion and find joy in providing comfort to our patients."
