Children’s Hospital awarded "Hospital of the Month" from national safety experts

East Tennessee Children’s Hospital has been named “Hospital of the Month” for May 2023 by Solutions for Patient Safety (SPS).

SPS is a national organization that brings together a network of more than 145 children’s hospitals to share and improve patient safety across the industry.

East Tennessee Children’s Hospital was recognized this month over all other pediatric hospitals in the network for its commitment to quality and safety. In particular, SPS recognized the organization’s exemplary data sharing and employee education practices, as well as prevention of hospital acquired conditions (HACs).
